ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Senior captain, Alyssa Denton, plays center defense for our girl’s soccer team and has shown her true aggressive and physical playing style. She has been a two-year captain and leads by example. Alyssa is also a member of our indoor and outdoor track and field teams. Congratulations Alyssa!

COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS: Mr. Patrick Doyle, Vice President of the Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce visited with our students this week to talk about what the Chamber is, and what they do to help businesses in our area!




COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS: The Entrepreneurship class took a trip to BC Fit, the newest 24-hour gym on Front Street! The business was started by CF alum, Mason Mastroianni and Tom Testa.
Mastroianni has taken over his grandfather's comic strip 'BC' (and company - Johnny Hart Studio), as well as an entrepreneur operating other businesses here and in Atlana, GA
Testa is the owner of Testa and Sons Plumbing, as well as operating other businesses in the area.
The students toured the gym and then spent 3 hours discussing what it's like to start and run a small business!




RISE AND SHINE: Thank you to Mrs. Johnson's class for hosting our Rise and Shine Assembly Tuesday for our 3rd through 5th grade students. Miss Ann from the Dance Connection was a guest speaker at this assembly and the focus was on being proactive. Congratulations to our students who are "Leading the Way" this week!

RISE AND SHINE: Thank you to Mrs. Pixley's class for leading our Rise and Shine Assembly for our PreK-2nd grade students. The focus of this assembly was being proactive. Congratulations to our students who are "Leading the Way" this week!


JOP OPPORTUNITY: Chenango Forks Central School District is hiring for a part/full-time Teacher Aide position at the elementary school level. This is a ten-month position effective immediately. UKULELE MAKING: Students in Mr. Pace's class are making their own Ukuleles! When the projects are completed, they will learn how to play the instrument they created!




CONSTRUCTION DAY: Chenango Forks students were able to attend the annual Construction-Technology Career Day, held at the county highway department facility, thanks to BT-BOCES! Hundreds of local high school students got to operate heavy equipment, try their hands at several trades skills, and discuss career opportunities with school, company, and union representatives.








MS STUDENTS OF THE MONTH: Congratulations to our Students of the Month for September!




INDI CAR ROBOTS: In 7th grade science, students are exploring the steps scientists use to answer questions by coding Indi Car Robots. They are problem-solving, using critical thinking, debugging, and computational thinking as they guide the robots to follow the scientific method in the correct sequence, making learning both fun and engaging!








ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Senior Captain Finn Stark is off to an impressive start this season. He's averaging over 8 yards per rush and 38 yards per catch, leading the team with 9 touchdowns and the most reception yards. In addition to his offensive contributions, Finn is a key leader on our defense and a standout player on the baseball team. Congratulations, Finn!


NATIONAL CUSTODIANS DAY: Today, we recognize the hardworking custodial staff here at Chenango Forks CSD who keep our learning environments clean, safe, and welcoming. Their dedication behind the scenes makes a huge impact on the well-being and success of our students and staff. Thank you for all you do!


RISE AND SHINE: On Monday our PreK-2nd grade students and our 3rd through 5th grade students had their second Rise and Shine Assembly. The PreK-2nd grade students' assembly was hosted by Mrs. Masters' and Mrs. Harris' classes. The 3rd -5th grade students' assembly was hosted by Mrs. Aurelio's class. Congratulations to the students who were recognized this week for “Leading the Way”!
