POSITIVITY BOARD: Mrs. Johnson's class created a bulletin board filled with positive quotes from authors they enjoy reading from! The class hopes that other students walking through the halls can read and reflect on some positivity!

AG IN THE CLASSROOM: Our second-grade friends at CFE were able to make some unique Valentine's Day Cards through our Ag in the Classroom program this week! They made designs stamped to pages using different kinds of vegetables and fruits! Can anyone guess what the 'heart' dye was made out of?
NEW ENERGY LAB: Last week our Board of Education was treated to a tour of our New Energy Lab and a presentation from BT BOCES! Our New Energy students and in structure have been a crucial part promoting this amazing program!
RISE AND SHINE: Thank you to Mrs. Slater for leading our Rise and Shine assembly today for our 4th and 5th grade students. The focus of this assembly was to not judge a book by its cover. Mrs. Slater talked with students about not judging someone by the way they look, instead get to know people, and find out who they are on the inside. MARDI GRAS: Students in Madame Dimatos' French Class celebrated Mardi Gras today! Complete with trivia, a lesson on traditions celebrated in French-speaking countries around the world, and of course, King Cake!

NEW MURAL: Students at CFE made signs to welcome a small team of highschoolers to their building last week. The high schooler have begun the process of creating a beautiful mural highlighting the 7 Habits of in the entry way!

TAPPING FOR SAP: Mrs. Hantsch's Agriculture Class have been working hard actively tapping and monitoring Maple trees across our campus. They are collecting sap that will eventually be used for creating maple syrup!

INTERSCHOLASTIC COMPETITION: Ten students from the Chenango Forks Middle School traveled to Tioga CSD for a regional interscholastic competition. The students answered trivia questions about Science, English, Social Studies, Math, and general knowledge. Both teams made it through the qualifying round, 12 teams placed in the top 6 in the head-to-head elimination bracket.
