NY COOKIES: Last week, our 4th Graders took part in the NY Cookie Project which helps them to learn the geography of the state though the placing of yummy treats on an NYS-shaped sugar cookie!

Mrs. Doolittle's HS Art class is collaborating with Mrs. Melajs' first grade art class to bring their watercolor paintings to life in clay-figurine form. The First Grader's work is inspired by the children's book: 'Where The Wild Things Are'.

PUMPKIN RUN: The 25th Annual Pumpkin Run is scheduled for Friday, October 27th. All Chenango Forks Students in grades Kindergarten through Sixth may participate in this One Mile Fun Run around the school grounds. Every participant will receive a goody bag full of snacks (including apples donated by Apple Hills), while the fastest boy and girl per grade level will also receive a large painted pumpkin decorated by the High School Art Club!
In order to participate, you must register your child by grade level at the tents located on the field closest to the Patch Road Underpass between 3:30-3:55 on Friday, October 27th. All those participating will have the opportunity to walk the course at 4:00 and the race itself will start at 4:30. Please Email Mr. Motell (Motellj@cforks.org) with any questions.
The Pumpkin Run is made possible through the efforts of several CF extracurricular clubs working together, including the Varsity Cross Country Team, the Chenango Forks Running Club, and both the High School and Middle School Interact Clubs,
along with student volunteers from the National Honor Society.
