A CHICKEN DID WHAT? Did you know that chickens love pumpkins? Not only are they a tasty treat, but pumpkins are full of vitamins and minerals to help keep chickens healthy. It also keeps their minds engaged, reducing boredom. Chickens do not eat the skin though, so we exposed some of the rind under the skin so that they can get to the good stuff. As this is the only area they will eat, they should carve our pumpkins for US! Have any leftover pumpkin guts from carving your own pumpkin?
Bring it to Mrs. Hantsch in room 52 in a ziploc bag and we will save it as future treats for our girls!
