COSTA RICA: While our French Club has taken on the north, our Costa Rica Club has taken on the south! They have been spending their Spring Break in the gorgeous county learning about culture, education, and much more! (Did we mention this is a class you can take at our high school? How cool is that?)






CFE students spent last week guessing who was behind yet another splash of color in our stair well. A special thank you goes out to Mrs. Collier, Mrs. Wheelock, Miss Tanner, and Ms. Janda for these colorful reminders. Tell your students to keep their eyes peeled for more.



Bonjour! While we might not be on campus this week, some of our extracurricular clubs have taken on other countries! Our French Club is in the beautiful city of Montreal! Bon Voyage!



The STTA class joined the other local STTA programs on a visit to Binghamton University to learn about the BU Food Pantry and explore pathways to becoming teachers through BU's undergraduate education minor and the university's graduate level educational program. Dr. Matthew McConn, TLEL department chair, and a panel of six future educators, provided the students with valuable information about teaching and learning to round out a wonderful day.

ATTENTION: The boys varsity STAC Semi-Final basketball game is Tuesday, Feb. 14th @ CF, 6:00 start. Admission will be charged. $5 Students and $8 Adults.


Over the weekend, the Varsity Boys Swim team was able to host their annual Father/ Son breakfast! After three years of not being able to have this, Coach Starr worked together with his boosters to bring back a well-loved traditional event enjoyed by all.




Mrs. Dolittle's watercolor class created recipe illustration cards that connect with their family culture or tradition. This year, the Director of the Cornell Extension Nutrition Program has chosen a favorite design/recipe and has invited the winner to join them on a cooking show to cook the recipe together in their kitchen. The winner this year is junior Kenadie Dunlap for her Halupki recipe! Congratulations Kenadie!


The High School Science Olympiad team participated in the regional event this past weekend at Maine Endwell Central Schools. The team competed in over 20 events is various branches of science. Medals were won by Kathryn White in the Cell Biology event, Angelina Schultz and Madison Schmitz in the Dynamic Planet event, and Kathryn White and Corbin Fetterman in the Green Generation event!


Our Varsity Cheerleading Team is on their way to Orlando, FL to compete in the UCA Cheerleading Nationals! Best of luck girls!


Congratulations to our band member Nolan Sirgany for representing Chenango Forks CSD in this year's All State Band in Ithaca!



Join our CF Boys Basketball for their 'White Out' game on Friday February 3rd. JV begins at 5:30 pm. and Varsity at 7:15 pm.

Our high school students are well into their Regents Exams this week. Here are some tips from Harvard University on how to do your best on a test! Keep up the good work Blue Devils!


The Interact Club is doing a can and bottle drive called, "Give What You Can" on January 29. The club will be accepting bottles brought to the school as well as going out into the community to pick up bottles at houses.


During their first competition of the new year, our CF Cheer team brought home First Place in their division. Their fan club also brought home a trophy too, for First Place in School Spirit! #ForksNation
