CHENANGO FORKS - The 5th annual Transportation Systems Car Show was hosted in early June this year, drawing students from elementary, middle, and high school to experience the wonders of vehicles old and new.
The event aims to educate students about the diverse array of vehicles on the road, potential career paths in the automotive industry, and the complexities of automotive engineering. It also serves as an introduction to the world of automotive customization.
This year's show featured a range of custom vehicles, emphasizing their historical significance. Highlights included a 1938 fire truck and a 2024 Chevrolet Corvette, among many other unique automobiles, some traveling from as far as Philadelphia!
Awards were given out to the following categories:
Crowd Favorite - Dave Freeman with 2014 Chevrolet Corvette
Best Work In Progress - Guy House 2020 Chevrolet Corvette
Most Likely to be bought by Briana Panko (Best of Show) - Cameron Courtright
All awards (featured in the cover photo) were created, designed, and 3D printed by the CFHS Technology Club.
