Dear Middle School Families,
We are excited to provide a summer opportunity titled Summer STEAM Academy to our middle school students. This program, which is run by Broome Tioga BOCES, is designed to engage students in project-based learning around science, technology, engineering, math, and art through the design cycle. Students will be teamed up with local engineers and other area professionals to explore and develop various projects with real-world applications. The Summer STEAM Academy will run Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm, from July 15 - July 25, 2024 (for a total of eight sessions). Transportation to and from the camp will be provided, along with lunch daily. Parents/guardians can also transport their child to and from the program if you choose to do so. There are limited slots available; so, if interested, please pre-register as soon as possible by clicking on the link below and completing the Google form by Friday, May 3, 2024. Please note your child will need to commit to all eight sessions to participate. You will be notified of your child’s acceptance into the STEAM Summer Academy by Friday, May 10, 2024.
