CFE FALL FESTIVAL: Our CFE Fall Fest is Nov 9th! At the event we will be collecting Family Board Games for the Christmas Basket Committee! We can't wait to see everyone there!
RISE AND SHINE: We would like to thank Mr. Castle’s class for leading our 4th and 5th grade Rise and Shine Assembly today. The focus of this assembly was on our first habit which is: Be Proactive. Congratulations to our student shout outs today!
PUMPKIN RUN: The 25th Annual Pumpkin Run is scheduled for Friday, October 27th. All Chenango Forks Students in grades Kindergarten through Sixth may participate in this One Mile Fun Run around the school grounds. Every participant will receive a goody bag full of snacks (including apples donated by Apple Hills), while the fastest boy and girl per grade level will also receive a large painted pumpkin decorated by the High School Art Club!
In order to participate, you must register your child by grade level at the tents located on the field closest to the Patch Road Underpass between 3:30-3:55 on Friday, October 27th. All those participating will have the opportunity to walk the course at 4:00 and the race itself will start at 4:30. Please Email Mr. Motell (Motellj@cforks.org) with any questions.
The Pumpkin Run is made possible through the efforts of several CF extracurricular clubs working together, including the Varsity Cross Country Team, the Chenango Forks Running Club, and both the High School and Middle School Interact Clubs,
along with student volunteers from the National Honor Society.

HOMECOMING 2023: Come out and support #ForksNation TONIGHT at 5:30 as our band and fall sports teams put on a parade! The route starts at CFE and ends at the high school with a bonfire! We hope to see you all there!

DOLLARS FOR SCHOLARS: Chenango Forks Dollars for Scholars still has Festival of Lights tickets for sale! If you plan on going to the light show at Ostiningo Park this year, please consider buying your tickets from CF Dollars for Scholars. Single visit tickets are $25 (one ticket needed per car) and season passes are $60. 100% of the proceeds will go directly to scholarships for our 2024 graduating seniors. We can accept cash or checks made out to Spiedie Fest. Email Kerri at kerrivail7@gmail.com if you are interested.
RISE AND SHINE: Congratulations to our student shout outs from this week’s Rise and Shine Assemblies. This week Mr. McMullen hosted our Rise and Shine assembly for our students in grades 4th and 5th grade. He talked with students about bullying and how to be a good friend and stick up for one another.

READING BUDDIES: 4th grade leaders from Mrs. Collier’s class visited the Library to read to PreK students in Mrs. Marble’s class. Our 4th graders did a fantastic job engaging our youngest in Clifford books, Eric Carle books, Pete the Cat books and more. There was lots of excitement with one 4th grader saying, “this is the best day ever!” We loved having our 4th graders and hope they come back to read again.
