6th Grade
WELCOME to your 1st year in FACS! As a team member or alone, we will work on many projects and class activities.
This year we are going to learn all about:
Kitchen safety
Food safety
Kitchen equipment
Measuring....all while making delicious recipes!
We are also going to learn some important skills for life:
Communication
Decision making
Problem solving
Slider is playing
6th Graders learning about food safety and preventing food-borne illness by practicing hand washing.
7th Grade
Welcome back to your 2nd year in FACS!!
This year we are going to learn all about:
Child development and childcare
Nutrition
Consumerism
We are also going to create a number of recipes to advance your cooking and food preparation skills!
8th Grade
Welcome to your 3rd year in FACS!
This year we are going to learn all about:
Money management
Career exploration
Cooking and food preparation are important skills to have. We will be preparing plenty of recipes this year to continue improving these skills!
