Welcome to Mrs. Pixley's First Grade Class!
First Grade is Awesome
Welcome to Mrs. Pixley's first grade class! I enjoy teaching first grade at Chenango Forks and watching children grow. Previously I taught at Wyoming Conference Children's Home in the Day Treatment Program for 13 years. I completed my undergraduate work at Nazareth College in Rochester New York and my graduate work at Elmira College. By establishing a well structured classroom with daily routines and procedures, children feel safe and are ready to learn. Implementing a multidisciplinary approach to teaching, children grow and enjoy learning. Being a part of the tremendous growth that occurs in first grade is something I look forward to each year!
