This Scholarship is in memory of Andy Lawniczek who was a graduate of Chenango Forks and the University of Buffalo. Andy was a member of the Blue Devils varsity baseball team. Applicants must have played high school baseball at Chenango Forks. Must be enrolled in either a two or four-year college for the fall semester of 2025.

This scholarship is for students who exhibit exemplary dedication to their community and want to pursue a future in law enforcement. The applicant must be enrolling in a criminal justice degree plan and have a record of community service.

Scott M. Ostrum passed away unexpectedly on 10/15/17 due to complications of Diabetes. He was 49 years young. Scott was a wonderful son, brother, father, uncle and friend to all. His whole life, Scott enjoyed all sports, including baseball, football, hunting, bowling, and golf, whether he was playing, or being a spectator at his children's sporting events or watching tv. The Memorial Scholarship was established to honor Scott and help defray the costs of college expenses for graduating seniors.
The "Rainbow Scholarship" has been created to provide meaningful support to the young LGBTQ+ youth of our community who plans to pursue a post-secondary education. The recognized scholarship recipient will have demonstrated their commitment to promoting a positive understanding of the LGBTQ+ community to the greater community.

Iva T. Coleman Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to underrepresented minority (African American or Black, Hispanic or Latino, American Indian or Native American etc.) students graduating this June who plan to pursue one of the STEM fields (chemistry, physics, biology, medicine, engineering, etc.) Students must be planning to attend an accredited undergraduate four-year college or university in the Fall of 2025.

The Nobody Fights Alone Brandon Jones Scholarship was created in honor of Brandon Jones who at the age of 19, was involved in a horrific car accident where he sustained a severe Traumatic Brain Injury. Brandon was given a 1% chance of survival and beat all the odds. He is still here fighting everyday to regain his life back. He would not be where he is today without his therapies, which include Physical, Occupational and Speech therapy as well as his Physical fitness Personal Trainer. This is our way of giving back to the community for all the support they have given us.
"Need based Scholarship"
This program is called the Pioneer Passport - which is a tuition free program.
Any first-year student who is a New York State resident and has a family income of $65k or less can attend tuition-free. There are no strings attached to this, such as a need to live/work in NYS after graduation. Students only need to apply for admission and add Utica to their FAFSA. If they qualify, they will receive the Pioneer Passport in their financial aid package.

New York State STEM Incentive Program
The New York State STEM Incentive Program application will open December 1, 2024, for students attending a SUNY or CUNY college.
To be eligible, students must:
Apply in their senior year of high school.
Be ranked in the top 10 percent of their high school graduating class at a NYS high school.
Be enrolled in a qualifying full-time undergraduate STEM program at a NYS SUNY or CUNY college.
Be a legal resident of New York State and have lived there continuously for 12 months.
Agree to live and work in the fields of science, technology, engineering, or mathematics in NYS for five years.
Students who do not meet residency requirements may qualify through the NYS Dream Act.
Students must have graduated from Chenango Forks High School or Greene Central High School and plan on attending St. Lawrence University.
