Mr. Rullo has been an integral part of the Chenango Forks School District since he was eight years old, starting as a student and later graduating as valedictorian in 2000. His academic journey continued with a B.S. in Biochemistry from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2004. Returning to the community, he obtained his Masters in Teaching Education from Binghamton University in 2006, followed by an Administrative Certificate at SUNY Cortland in 2016.

Commencing his educational career in January 2006, Mr. Rullo found fulfillment as the 8th grade Physical Science teacher at CFMS. His teaching repertoire extends to Regents Chemistry, Life Science, and AIS Math. Engaging actively in school affairs, he contributed to middle school building level teams, district level teams, the APPR committee, and the negotiation committee. His coaching experience spans various sports, including boys JV and varsity basketball, JV baseball and softball, and girls varsity and modified tennis. Since the 2016-17 school year, he has proudly served as the Middle School Principal.

Residing in the community with his wife, Kim, and their three children—AJ, Maya, and Amelia—Mr. Rullo emphasizes the importance of collaboration between home and school for continued success. Recognizing the talent within the staff, he believes in collective efforts to help students strive for success. Education, he asserts, is a key to success and the future. His overarching goal is to inspire and support both students and staff, encouraging their best efforts every day. Mr. Rullo is eager to foster positive connections and invites any questions or concerns through email or phone. He is looking forward to personal conversations with parents and community members!

Contact Middle School Attendance

Each day is an important day in school, no matter what grade level. Parent/guardian cooperation is needed to maintain a positive attitude in their children to attend school each day.

Attendance Office:  607-648-7576 option 6

Attendance: When a child is absent or going to be late, the parent/guardian is asked to call the attendance office at 607-648-7551. If it is before school hours you may leave a message. To ensure that all teachers know of any early dismissals, a note should be brought into the main office at the beginning of the school day indicating the time of the early dismissal.

All absences will be noted as Unexcused Absences until a valid confirmation, either verbal or written, is received from a parent/guardian. Unexcused absences will only be changed to excused absences with valid reasons up to seven days after the absence.

Students arriving late to school must sign in at the attendance office immediately upon entering the building at the HS/MS Visitors Entrance.
