Mrs. Birch is an experienced educator who has devoted her career to shaping young minds. Her journey began in the Fulton County School system within the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia. In this diverse setting, Mrs. Birch taught students across multiple grade levels, from second to fifth grade.
Driven by a desire to return to her New York roots, Mrs. Birch transitioned to Windsor Middle School, where she passionately taught 6th grade Math and Science for an impressive decade. Her dedication to her craft led her to pursue further qualifications, and she successfully obtained her administrative certification.
In pursuit of new challenges and opportunities, Mrs. Birch joined Maine-Endwell High School, where she flourished for three years as an Associate Principal. Throughout her tenure, Mrs. Birch focused on creating a conducive learning environment and fostering academic growth among the students.
Mrs. Birch's educational journey is bolstered by her academic accomplishments. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and a Master of Science degree in Elementary Literacy from the State University of New York College at Cortland. Determined to expand her knowledge, she went on to complete her Certificate of Advanced Study in Educational Leadership at Binghamton University. Additionally, Mrs. Birch holds a certificate in District and Building Administration.
Mrs. Birch is entering her third year as the Principal of CFE. She firmly believes that all students have the potential to achieve great things through hard work, dedication, and strong partnerships among students, staff, and families. Mrs. Birch continues fostering meaningful relationships and guiding learners towards their full potential each and every day.
